OFFICAL RULES
No Purchase Necessary: No purchase is necessary to enter or claim prizes. Contest is open to all U.S. Citizens who are legal residents of the continental United States and are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Residents of Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, Virgin Islands, Guam and other US territories are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law or regulations. Employees and any family members of All Things Family Reunion (“Sponsor”), are not eligible to participate. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
Contest Period: Contest begins Monday, May 21, 2012 at 12:00:01 a.m. Central Standard Time (“CST”) and ends June 21, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. (CST).
Eligibility: By entering this Contest, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor, All Things Family Reunion, and/or their agents (which are final and binding in respects) and warrants that he/she is eligible to enter/participate in this Contest.
How To Enter:

- Complete “It’s A Family Thing” Family Reunion Contest entry form (must be submitted each time you enter contest.)
Limit: One (1) entry per person per day (daily) for the duration of the Contest Period. Entry form must be completed for each entry. Incomplete, unreadable, or unintelligible entries shall be disqualified. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Neither entries nor prizes are transferable. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner where an entry was made electronically, the winner shall be deemed to be the person whose name the e-mail account governing the e-mail address was opened.
Email and Privacy: Email addresses and other information received via contest entries will not be used for any purposes other than solely internal use and not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.
Prize: One (1) Grand Prize: Winner will receive a custom backdrop, stand, and red carpet for their upcoming 2012 family reunion. Package includes 8’X10’ Custom Backdrop w/family reunion logo, family name, etc, 8’X10’ Backdrop Stand and 3’X10’ Red Carpet w/carry bag. One (1) First Prize: 5 Dozen (60 ) custom cookies w/family reunion logo, picture, etc. These are Veronica’s Treats, leading photo cookies manufacturer. Featured on Today’s Show, Rachel Ray, Instyle Magazine, brides.com and numerous other publications and included in countless celebrity gift and SWAG bags. All federal, state, and local taxes, and all other expenses not expressly listed above are the sole responsibility of the winners. Prize is nontransferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash by winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize for one of equal or greater value.
Selection Of Winner: Winner will be selected by a random drawing from the number of eligible entries received on or about June 25, 2012. Odds of winning prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Release of Liability: By participating, you release Sponsor, All Things Family Reunion and their subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, employees, directors, agents, advertising agencies, and all other associated with the development and execution of this Contest, from any and against any and all injury, loss or damage caused or claimed to be caused by your participation in the Contest and/or the acceptance, awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of the prize, and you agree that these entities are in no matter responsible for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relating to the Contest and/or the awarding of any prize. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event that the preceding release is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or void for any reason, entrant agrees that, by entering the Contest, any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Contest, but in no event attorney’s fees; and under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for actual out-of-pocket expenses.
Additional Rules: Sponsor is not responsible for: lost, late, misdirected, damaged, garbled or illegible entries/registrations; error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry/registration materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to: permanently disqualify from any contest it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these official rules; and suspend, modify or terminate the Contest if Sponsor believes, in its sole discretion, that malfunction, error, disruption or damage is impairing or will impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity of the Contest. If Contest is terminated before the end date, Sponsor will determine the winner from all eligible entries received as of the termination date. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any unauthorized entries, including, without limitation, multiple entries from the same person. Entering the Contest constitutes permission to use the name, voice, photo, and likeness of the winner for advertising and publicity purposes, without further compensation.
LEGAL WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, DESTROY, TAMPER OR VANDALIZE THIS WEB SITE OR INTERFERE WITH THE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST, IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES AGAINST ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Severability; Headings: If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Official Rules and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. Headings and captions are used in these Official Rules solely for convenience of reference, and shall not be deemed to affect in any manner the meaning or intent of these Official rules or any provision hereof.
Winners List & Names: Prize winners shall be notified by telephone, email or both whichever is appropriate on or after June 25, 2012. Selected winner shall be required to respond (as directed) to the notification within seven (7) days of attempted notification date. The failure to respond timely to the notification shall result in forfeiture of the prize and, in such case, Sponsor will randomly select an alternate winner from among the remaining eligible entries. Prize winners shall be required to verify name and address and to execute before a notary public and return within seven (14) days of receipt an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release covering eligibility, liability, advertising, publicity and media issues, unless prohibited by law. Prize shall not be awarded until all such properly executed and notarized forms are returned.
