MAKE OWN INVITATIONS

Make own invitations or not make own invitations…that is the question? And only you can decide but here’s my two cents.

When you make your own family reunion invitations (not that you are tooting your own horn), but you get to showcase your creativity with unique invitations made specifically for your family that will spark the interest of your family members. I must admit that I absolutely love creating extra special family reunion invitation made exclusively for my family. Also, I will admit that in addition to my Human Resources background, I do have somewhat of a graphic design background as well. I said that to say that you don’t have to be savvy in graphic design to make your own reunion invitations. You can create and make your own invitations with something as simple as Microsoft Word or an equivalent computer software program. Long before I advanced to the level where I am today with regard to graphic design, I created some really lovely reunion invites as well as other items simply using Microsoft Word. Whether your preference is MAC or PC, if you really want to be different and creative, you should really make your own.

When you make your own family reunion invitations, there are several advantages and benefits which include the following: cost, convenience, picking your own paper or cardstock, and the lee way to be as creative as you want to be. You have absolutely no barriers when you make your own reunion invitations. It’s totally up to you how the design turns out. You can easily incorporate your reunion theme, color, shape, etc. into your design.

Since the invitations are the first thing that your family members will experience relative to the family reunion, designing and creating your own invitations is the perfect way to ensure you set the appropriate tone for the event. Imagine receiving lots of calls after your family members have received the invitations you designed…so excited and wanting more information about what’s in store. That has certainly been my experience and that’s the beauty of making your own reunion invitations.
